Held First Fall Fundraiser at Vokes Theatre

September 2008 – The Wayland Business Association's fundraiser for the 2008-2009 year had a new twist – several actually... first it was in the fall vs the spring, second it was a play as opposed to a dinner or jazz event.

Nearly 100 people attended the performance of A Man of No Importance
(a musical) at the Vokes Theatre on Nov. 20th. The event featured the WBA's annual silent auction which also helped raise about $5,000 all of which goes to local organizations including the schools.
